About Us

About Us

Metgabrim is a digital and community platform for men in Israel.
It's a place to explore questions about relationships, partnership, fatherhood, pressure, anger, silence, responsibility, resilience, and what it means to navigate life in Israel today—without judgment and without feeling the need to explain everything from the start.

We don't believe there's only one way to be a man.
We offer a compass, not a blueprint.
At Metgabrim, you can read articles, listen to podcasts, discover practical tools, explore personal growth paths, join a community, or reach out for a conversation whenever the time feels right.
Metgabrim operates under the umbrella of the Association of No to Violence Against Women, as part of a broader vision of prevention, responsibility, healthy relationships, and building safer spaces for men, families, and communities.

This Is Where Metgabrim Was Born

Founded in 1977 by Israel Prize laureate Ruth Resnik, the association is one of Israel's longest-standing organizations in its field. Over the years, it has established shelters, transitional housing, a national support hotline, educational programs, and professional partnerships with public institutions, organizations, academic bodies, and private companies.
Through decades of working with families, homes, and relationships, it became clear that there was also a need to reach men earlier—before stress, burnout, and emotional distance grow into something that hurts the people closest to them.
This is where Metgabrim began.

Behind Metgabrim is a multidisciplinary team with experience in therapy, education, gender studies, community work, trauma, men's development, content creation, and the development of social support initiatives.
The Metgabrim team was created to provide a professional, human, discreet, and non-judgmental space—one that understands that men don't always ask for help in the same way, and offers them a place where taking the first step feels possible.

Our Team

Behind Metgabrim is a multidisciplinary team with experience in therapy, education, community work, trauma, men's wellbeing, content creation, and the development of social support initiatives.
We created Metgabrim to be a professional, welcoming, and judgment-free space—one that recognizes that men often seek support differently, and offers them a comfortable place to take the first step.
